Welcome to The Motocross Track, a new online community dedicated to amateur riders throughout Northern California. Our goal is simple – help young motocross athletes strive to reach their goals in both their sport and their education.
I once heard one of my personal favorite riders – Kevin Windham – say this of motocross, "It's a lifestyle. It's not anything more or less than that." Sounds simple enough, but when it comes to motocross, nothing is simple.
As a motocross athlete, you know the hard work it takes to be the best you can be – on and off the track. You have to find a balance between school and family, training and competition. For those athletes who are truly dedicated – and for their families who support their efforts – motocross transcends all those aspects of life, truly becoming a lifestyle as Windham said.
